Athletics Sports Activities
- During an academic year, from time-to-time, extra-curricular activities/Study/ Excursion Trips/Meena Bazar are being organized. Following are the SOPs for organizing any extra-curricular activity:
- The school’s Sports Co-Coordinator is the key person from the school involved with all extra curriculum sports events and will co-ordinate each of the activities wherein students are involved.
- The school will seek volunteers who are willing to co-ordinate a particular sport or cultural activity.
- The school will collect the fees, make up and enter the teams into the competitions and (where possible) provide a coach/tutor.
- The school reserves the right not to organize groups if difficulties arise in finding teachers, tutors or coaches who are willing to support the activity.
- Coaches and tutors may make decisions but the teachers’ decisions are final.
- Parents are expected to support the team, teacher, tutor or coach; to take their children to and from the activity venues on time and to communicate well with the tutor/coach.
- The school will not be held responsible for injuries.
- If extra curricula activities are held in school times, normal school rules and policies apply.
- Uniforms and equipment issued to teams through the school remain the property of the school and should only be used for the purpose intended. Loss or damage is the responsibility of the student. All participating students will be given written/printed undertaking and asked to get these signed by their parents. It would be mentioned clearly in this undertaking that the School Administration will not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to the student.
