Noor e Sehar Special Education School recently marked the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi with utmost reverence and enthusiasm. The event aimed to deepen the students’ understanding of the significance of this auspicious occasion while inspiring and educating them about the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The event was graced by esteemed guests from MPCL Field Daharki, including Mr. Hassan Nawaz, Regional Manager Sindh (RMS), who served as the chief guest. Col. Hassan DM Security and Mr. Hairuddin Baloch, Sustainability & CSR Specialist, also attended, adding prestige to the occasion.
The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by their translation. Students then displayed their talent and devotion with a captivating performance on the Hamd, “Wohi Khuda Hai,” setting a deeply spiritual tone for the gathering. The students’ dedication and talent left everyone in awe.
Principal’s Welcome Address
The principal of NSSES, Muhammad Shafi, delivered a warm welcome address, extending gratitude to the guests and setting the stage for the ceremony’s proceedings.
Heartfelt Naat Recitations
The Milad continued with heart-touching recitations of Naat by both students and staff. These beautiful and soul-stirring performances added a profound dimension to the event, reminding attendees of the event’s importance in Islamic history and the exemplary virtues of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Expressions of Reverence
The gathering provided an opportunity for all attendees to express their reverence for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by offering salaam, creating a sense of love, peace and devotion.
Highlighting the school’s commitment to quality education, the CSR Department of MPCL and STEP annually distribute shoes, uniforms, and books to NSSES students. The most touching moment of the event came when new uniforms and shoes were distributed to the students by the esteemed guests, ensuring that every child had access to essential school supplies.
Chief Guest’s Remarks
The chief guest expressed admiration for the heartfelt efforts put into organizing the event and commended the dedication of everyone involved. He also shared valuable information about the month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal and its significance.
