In a heartwarming display of patriotism and inclusivity, Noor-e-Sehar Special Education School commemorated Pakistan’s Independence Day on the 14th of August with unwavering enthusiasm. The event was organized in Jinnah Hall, where students and esteemed guests from Mari Petroleum gathered to celebrate this joyous occasion. The celebration started with a heartwarming cake-cutting ceremony. Mr. Nabeel Rasheed CFO MPCL was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. He was accompanied by Mr. Hassan Nawaz RMS, Col. (R) Muhammad Munir, Manager A & S, Lt. Col. (R) Farooq Azam, DM CSR, Lt. Col. (R) Hassan Masood DM Security, and Mr. Mansoor Janjua, Admin Officer. The distinguished guests joined hands with the students in cutting the cake, marking the beginning of a memorable day filled with camaraderie and appreciation for the nation.
The highlight of the event was the students’ unwavering devotion to their homeland as they passionately sang national songs. The students showcased their talents not only through songs but also through a captivating performance of the National Anthem in Sign Language. This inclusionary gesture underscored the school’s commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their abilities, could participate in the celebration. The patriotic ambiance was further enhanced as the students adorned themselves in traditional green and white attire, symbolizing the nation’s colours. The joy on the faces of the students was evident as they showcased their talents through various performances and waved flags, embodying the true spirit of independence.
